When it comes to The Punisher, Marvel Television isn’t giving away any secrets for free. Fans have even had to translate Morse code to learn more about the series, and now folks think a new post by Marvel may reveal the show’s release date.

That is, if they can break the image’s secret code.
Earlier today, the Instagram account for The Punisher posted a strange photo to its feed. The still image itself is lifted from some surveillance footage. The still says the stream is unable to find a facial recognition match of a target, but its the series of numbers listed on the photo that is drawing attention.
As you can see below, a series of numbers is included at the bottom of photo and reads as follows: 13, 28, 03, 613. Fans may be getting ahead of themselves with the numerals, but netizens think the digits may be coded to reveal the show’s premiere date. Marvel Television has been very cagey about the show’s release schedule, and fans are grasping at whatever they can to get answers.
Of course, there are those out there dismissing the code-breaking rumors. Some believe the photo may be teasing the show’s first full-length trailer. Fans have only seen short snippets of The Punisher so far, so a trailer would be more prudent to tease than a release date.
After all, news about the show’s release was seemingly revealed earlier this year. In the past, one of the episode directors of The Punisher told The Hollywood Reporter his work on the series would debut in November. Netflix releases its original shows all at once, so fans deduced that the show would drop sometime in November. Fans are thinking the release will occur around November 10th or 11th to commemorate the Veterans Day weekend.
For now, fans can try their hand at sussing out a code from The Punisher‘s latest image, but it will likely come down to Netflix to reveal the show’s premiere date once and for all.
