Earlier today, Marvel Studios gifted fans with its first official look at its upcoming Inhumans series. The ambitious project is slated to debut this September with its first two episodes airing in IMAX before ABC screens the series’ remaining episodes for cable viewers. The hybrid project has been busy filming in Hawaii over the last month or so, teasing fans with images of the Inhumans’ royal family in action. The blurry images made it difficult for fans to get a good look at the gang’s costumes, but a new cast photo has finally fixed that issue.

However, it looks like fans wish Entertainment Weekly kept the exclusive look to itself.

Fans have taken to Twitter to bemoan the film’s cheap-looking costumes with some even going as far to compare the looks to last-minute cosplays. Characters like Karnak and Maximus have avoided the majority of costume digs, but leads like Black Bolt and Medusa have been slammed on social media. From the costumes’ lackluster finishes to one poorly weaved wig, fans are having a real hard time swallowing the Inhumans’ get-ups for now.
