Marvel Entertainment today announced that executive editor Nick Lowe has been promoted to Vice President of Content, Digital Publishing.

Nick will continue his work to edit the Marvel Comics titles including Spider-Gwen, Silk, Mosaic, and Doctor Strange the Sorcerers Supreme.

Lowe’s new responsibilities as Vice President of Content, Digital Publishing includes expanding Marvel’s Infinite Comics line and helping to create unique original content for Marvel’s Video Comics, which recently premiered on Disney XD.

As executive editor, Nick Lowe works on Amazing Spider-Man and has been responsible for orchestrating The Clone Conspiracy Spider-Man event that is currently ongoing, as well as the upcoming crossover over between Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen that will put Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy (of Earth-65) in a romantic relationship. He is also planning the upcoming Venom #150 oversized anniversary issue and has overseen the modern relaunch of Doctor Strange and spinoff title Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme.
