Pop culture has come to the Big Apple for New York Comic Con 2016 and ComicBook.com is here to bring you all of the breaking news – LIVE

NYCC is the East Coast’s largest pop culture convention, hosting comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies and television with accompanying panels and autograph sessions with celebrities and creatives. There are also quite a few sneak peek screenings for both upcoming films and television series.

New York Comic Con 2016 marks the event’s 11th year, having begun in February 2006. The show has grown to become almost as huge as San Diego Comic Con.

Big time industry players like Marvel Comics, DC Comics, 20th Century Fox, AMC, BBC America, Valiant Entertainment, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, BOOM! Studios, The CW, Netflix, DreamWorks Animation, Hasbro, Funko, LEGO and more will be in attendance this year.

Today’s (Friday) events include the BBC America Takeover with Doctor Who, Class, and Dirk Gently, a Stranger Things panel with Millie Bobbie Brown and David K. Harbour, Marvel’s 50 Years of Black Panther, Creators Studio with Joe Quesada, DC’s Young Animal with Gerard Way, Wonder Woman 75, Agents of SHIELD, Voltron, Stan Lee Roundtable, Freeform’s Beyond and so much more.
