It’s no secret: Sony Pictures has history with Spider-Man reboots. The studio has debuted three series based on the web-slinging hero, and Spider-Man: Homecoming marks the company’s most recent outing. Many fans were eager to check out Sony’s MCU-centric redo, but one former Spider-Man star wasn’t loving the reboot. However, it doesn’t seem like Tom Holland is bothered by Kirsten Dunst‘s critiques.

Recently, the Spider-Man star sat down with Movie’n’co UK to talk about his MCU work, and Holland even responded to Dunst’s comments about Sony’s ‘cash-grabbing’ reboots.
“You know, she’s entitled to her own opinion and I’m not one to judge at all,” the actor said.
“I definitely am not doing this movie for the money. I mean, it’s a job that I think anyone would do regardless of what you were getting paid, you know? All I know is I had the greatest time on this movie and I absolutely loved it and, you know, if she doesn’t want to go and see it, I don’t really care,” Holland continued. “I don’t dislike her in any way for what she said and she’s entitled to her own opinion, so it’s all cool.”
Earlier this year, Dunst made headlines after an interview she did with Marie Claire went public. The starlet, who played Mary Jane Watson is Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films, criticized Sony for milking the hero for money.
“We made the best ones, so who cares?I’m like, ‘You make it all you want,’” Dunst said.
“They’re just milking that cow for money. It’s so obvious. You know what I mean….Everyone likes our Spider-Man. C’mon, am I right or what? Listen, I’d rather be in the first ones than the new ones.”
