A fan-made take on Back to the Future: Part IV is exactly what millions of eyeballs wish they could see as an official trailer. Unfortunately, another installment of the popular trilogy will likely never come along but that hasn’t stopped Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox from keeping their iconic Doc Brown and Marty McFly characters very much alive.

The two actors have performed skits on Jimmy Kimmel Live and participated in Toyota commercials, all honoring the Back to the Future saga, but now have taken part in an epic fan-made trailer for a Part IV. Well, kind of…

The new fan-made trailer borrows footage of Lloyd an Fox from various projects, including commercials, but creates one of the best fan-made trailers we all wish was for a real film.

Sadly, a new installment or a reboot will likely never come along.

“Yeah, as long as I have my say [it’s safe],” Back to the Future producer Frank Marshall told Yahoo! Movies. “That one exists just like ET – we’re never touching those.”

He went on to add that he “loves watching it,” referring to the Back to the Future trilogy, and is proud that the saga “almost [getting] the Chicago Cubs [World Series] victory right.”
