Guardians of the Galaxy, which will start filming in London in June, has put out a casting call. The extra casting call released on Universal Extras never refers to the Guardians of the Galaxy movie by name, but from the description it's pretty obvious what film the casting call is for. The Marvel Super Hero film is described as being about "a team of super heroes who protect the Galaxy in the future of a different dimension." The fact that the film is described as being set in the future is interesting, since director James Gunn revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy will connect to Avengers 2, which is set in current time. The casting call is fairly specific in describing what type of actors and actresses they are looking to cast in certain extra roles. For the core team of extras, they are looking for seasoned professionals who will play a variety of different roles in the film. They are also looking for amputees to play beings on an alien planet, albino males and females, really tall males to play aliens, males and females to play monks, males with stunt experience to play mutant soldiers, bald males and females, and identical twins. The Guardians of the Galaxy movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014.
