Starting with 2018’s animated Scooby-Doo reboot S.C.O.O.B., Warner Bros. Animation is apparently interested in “unlocking the whole Hanna Barbera Universe.”
Whether that means they’re actually planning on crossing films over or not isn’t clear — but the suggestion that properties like Johnny Quest, Yogi Bear, Sealab 2020, and The Flintstones could be coming to the big screen as animated features is certainly an intriguing one — especially in light of DC Comics’s new Hanna-Barbera line which includes modern updates of concepts like Wacky Races and (again) Scooby-Doo.
