American Horror Story Season 5 went over well with critics and fans, but of course, the show never stays in one place too long, so the current mystery is what theme will we see for the upcoming season 6.

At PaleyFest, show creator Ryan Murphy said: "The interesting thing about the next season is that we've been working on two ideas at once, which we've never done." That comment suggests something in either two different timelines or two different locales, both of which are interesting. He went on to say that the creative team has previously been influenced by "the opera", and that horror "often deals with the innocence of children, and their wide-eyed way into it. Both ideas we're working with have elements of children."

So, we know the team likes the opera, and that this season will heavily include children in some way. As always, I'm intrigued as to how they are going to pull all those elements together. We'll just have to wait and see.
