As Valiant Entertainment focuses most of its energy this week on the launch of its new super-team series Unity, we’ll be talking as always with Fred Van Lente about Archer & Armstrong, the fifteenth issue of which hits stores on Wednesday.Last month, we discussed the beginning of Sect Civil War with Van Lente, as the series’ villains went to war. This month, Archer has decided to–at least momentarily–bury the hatchet with Armstrong in order to stop the madness that kicked off and save the world.Check out the solicitation text and preview pages below.Valiant is proud to present an advance preview of Archer & Armstrong #15 – the next time-walking, history-smashing chapter of “Sect Civil War” by New York Times best-selling writer Fred Van Lente and Harvey Award-nominated artist Khari Evans!WARNING: This is no longer a (FINGER QUOTES) “fun” comic. Now that the Sect Civil War has begun, it is now a (FINGER QUOTES) “grim” and (FINGER QUOTES) “gritty” work of (REAL QUOTES) “sequential literature” with blood and headshots and naughty words (like “H-E-DOUBLE-HOCKEY-STICKS”) and if you squint real hard at the backgrounds, maybe boobies. In this particular issue, the man now calling himself Dark Archer (NOTE TONAL SHIFT) must find his former partner Armstrong so they can reunite to stop the aforementioned Sect Civil War. Only, that is, if Armstrong and his brother, Ivar the Timewalker, can finish their 3,000 year binge in the time stream and sober up in time to change the Valiant Universe forever! The all-out confrontation between the world’s most dreaded secret societies goes on a bender to mummy times and back in Archer & Armstrong #15 on November 13th – in stores the same day as UNITY #1!
