Blade Runner Sequel Keeps the Classic Logo

Tonight at CinemaCon, Sony gave their audience a first look at the logo for their as-yet-untitled (?) Blade Runner sequel.

The image, which uses the classic Blade Runner logo, features the words "All of International" at the bottom, indicating Sony's interest in the film. Alcon will distribute Blade Runner in the U.S.

Denis Villeneuve will direct the follow-up to Ridley Scott's sci-fi masterpiece, starring Ryan Gosling, Dave Bautista, and Harrison Ford (reprising his role as Rick Deckard).

Hampton Fancher, co-writer of the original, and Michael Green of Green Lantern fame tackled the screenplay based on an idea by Fancher and Ridley Scott.

The story takes place roughly the same amount of time after the 1982 original which has actually elapsed in the real world.
