For thirty glorious seconds, Bill Watterson's classic comic strip Calvin & Hobbes has finally seen life as a piece of animation--albeit one created by a fan and not actually a portent of anything on the horizon. Except, maybe, more of these as the creator of the animation chimed in on his own YouTube comments thread to say he might try to do some more. Adam Brown, of Comedy Central's Ugly Americans, created the animation, which is based on the script at right but which eschews voice actors in favor of adapting the strip as a mostly-silent piece.
