Chris Hemsworth Wants Thor To Join Guardians Of The Galaxy

Marvel Studios says they don't have any set plans for an Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy crossover just yet but that doesn't stop the cast members (and us fans) from thinking about it.

In a recent interview in promotion of his new film, In The Heart Of The Sea, Thor star, Chris Hemsworth, admitted he would love to see Thor take on the galaxy with Peter Quill and friends.

"I'd love him to hang out with the Guardians crew," Hemsworth said. "I love that film and there's a great amount of fun to be had."

If Thor and the Guardians were to cross paths, the best guess is in the Avengers: Infinity War films coming in 2018 and 2019. The Hulk has already joined Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has shown no indication of involving the Norse God.

Hemsworth's next Thor adventure, Thor: Ragnarok, hits theaters July 17, 2018. In The Heart Of The Sea opens December 11, 2015.
