Earlier this month at the Orange County Museum of Modern Arts' annual "Art of Dining" gala, filmmaker David Lynch was honored for his impact on the art world. Mädchen Amick and Lara Flynn Boyle, who both starred on Lynch's career-defining TV series Twin Peaks, as did series actor Ray Wise. Wise, according to the fan site Welcome to Twin Peaks, sat down with the director for several hours talking about everything under the sun, including the possibility of a continuation of Twin Peaks. Here are David Lynch's words on the topic, as paraphrased by Ray Wise: "Well, Ray, you know, the town is still there. And I suppose it's possible that we could revisit it. Of course, you're already dead (…) but we could maybe work around that." These remarks come on the heels of a statement made earlier this month by Lynch's daughter, saying that her father had definitively closed the door on the possibility.
