Stephen Colbert and J.J. Abrams are hosting their "Nerd-Off" on November 21, 2015 to benefit the Montclair Film Festival in New Jersey, but leading up to that, the pair are teaming up with Omaze for a donate-to-win raffle turning the nerdy night into a one-of-a-kind experience.
For a donation of $10 or more at Omaze.com/nerdoff between now and November 12, you'll have a chance at a slew of prizes including: Roundtrip airfare for 2 to New York, NY, 4-star hotel, live taping of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Luxury box and champagne reception at the Celebrity Nerd-Off, backstage/green room time with Colbert and Abrams at the event, and the opportunity to ask the pair one question to try to stump these two kings of nerddom. Colbert made a video announcing the competition from on-set.
Proceeds go to The Montclair Film Festival, an organization that "offers world-class film education programs to students of all backgrounds. At a time when media literacy is vital to engaging with our world as good citizens, these programs give young people the tools to understand and create stories about their lives, communities, and exciting new ideas. The Montclair Film Festival’s education programs are free for students and families, ensuring everyone gets a chance to tell their story. Programs include filmmaking workshops, emerging filmmakers competition, a mentorship program, and many more."
