Sets are being constructed for Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. Crews are giving a Montreal mall a 1980s makeover as the next installment in the X-Men movie franchise will be set in 1983.

The retro sets include Space Port arcade, Kay-Bee Toys store, Tape World for when people bought cassettes, Electronic Boutiques computer store, movie theater with Star Wars: Return of the Jedi poster, Merle Norman cosmetic shop and the super-fast 3-Hour Photo store.

Based on the first image we know that the working title of the film is "AKKABA." if you live near the Montreal are and you happen to see signs be ready to bust out your Polaroid camera and capture some mutant action.

Word on the street is that the mall set will be used for a recruitment scene for the Robin Sparkles of the X-Men universe, Jubilee (being played by Lana Condor). That makes sense as Jubilee was recruited by the X-Men after she is attacked by a Sentinel at a mall in the 90s' X-Men animated series (view by clicking here). In that version, Gambit, Cyclops, Storm and Rogue come to her rescue.

Check out the set photos below.
