Five Nights At Freddy's Sequel Trailer Released

Sister Location

Well, it wouldn't be fair for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza to get all the attention now would it?

That's the premise behind Sister Location, the spinoff to the majorly successful and nightmare causing Five Nights at Freddy's series. The game features at least one new character, that being the creepy clown girl seen in the trailer and the image. Clowns are already creepy enough, they seriously don't need any help.

The original teaser image for the game, which comes from Developer Scott Cawthon, sported the tagline "There was never just one." Whether this story will somehow connect with the previous entries in the core Five Nights at Freddy's franchise is not yet known, but I imagine there will at least be a subtle link.

The original game centered around the Freddy Fazbear Pizzaria that had seen much better days in years past. It was suspected that the murder of five children by a killer who wore a suit like the animatronics that made their home at the restaurant was at the center of the evils that now lurked in the hallways at night. To keep the servos working, the owners let the animatronic animals roam at nighttime, but there was something different about them now, and it wasn't good.

You spent the game trying to last through the night, operating cameras and doors in an attempt to keep them from entering the office and killing you. That formula has been tweaked and changed over the subsequent entries, and Sister Location looks like it will give you even more freedom in movement. We'll just have to wait and see.
