Free Star Wars Minigame Lets You Play Contra As Chewbacca

Konami's latest update for Star Wars: The Force collection includes a Star Wars-themed Contra minigame, starring Chewbacca.

The free minigame is inspired by the classic, and notoriously difficult, Contra arcade and NES action games. The minigame puts players in control of Chewbacca as he fights off Stormtroopers across four Contra-inspired levels, ranging from the forests of Endor and the treacherous halls of an Imperial facility to help the cause of the Rebel Alliance.

Players can access the Contra minigame after completing the Star Wars: The Force Collection tutorial, and will be rewarded with a special trophy for playing.

The update also introduces iconic C-3PO and R2-D2 Cards to the main game, and a new Super Star Destroyer Boss Event.

Star Wars: The Force Collection is available as a free download on iOS and Android.
