Funimation Acquires International Rights To Monster Hunter Stories Ride On

Funimation Entertainment announced tonight that it has secured the international rights to broadcast the new animated series Monster Hunter Stories Ride On through its Funimation Now streaming service from Fuji TV. The announcement was made at the annual industry panel at Otakon.

Ride On will debut this October on the service, right alongside Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories on the 3DS (in Japan). Ride On will be Directed by Mitsuro Hongo (Outlaw Star), and will be produced by David Production (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure).

Monster Hunter Stories is the spinoff to the ultra successful Monster Hunter franchise from Capcom, and Ride On will just further extend the core brand.
