George R.R. Martin, the creator of A Song of Ice and Fire, has joined the ranks of Twitter.
Ironically, Martin’s first, and so far only, tweet notes that he doesn’t use Twitter much and points fans to his LiveJournal account, where he was traditionally communicated his opinions in the past and sometimes leaked chapters from upcoming books in the series.
The account is @GRRMSpeaking, which is now one more place for fans to harass Martin about not writing fast enough. Of course, the account isn’t verified yet, but it probably won’t take long if it’s legitimate.
I don't tweet all that much, please check out my live journal page. ;) #myfirstTweet— George RR Martin (@GRRMspeaking) June 9, 2014
