In a world filled with morally corrupt characters, Ramsay Bolton is probably the most despicable character on Game of Thrones. Over the course of five seasons, Ramsay has become one of Westeros's most vicious sociopaths. While other characters try to mask their dark urges, Ramsay seems to revel in his only depravity and truly enjoys making other people suffer.

Ramsay is the illegitimate son of Roose Bolton, one of the chief architects of the Red Wedding. After helping secure the North in his father's name, Roose recognized Ramsay as his heir and arranged his marriage to Sansa Stark in order to consolidate his power with the Northerners. However, Sansa fled to the Wall after Ramsay raped and beat her, and she's now rallied her half-brother Jon Snow to lead an army to take back the North from Ramsay once and for all. With the Battle of the Bastards looming, will this mean the end of Ramsay Bolton's reign of terror?

Because of his sadistic and unpredictable ways, Ramsay has avoided any real brush with death so far on the show. He's a formidable fighter and has an air of invincibility and danger to him, which makes people think twice before crossing him. Ramsay also tends to kill anyone who he thinks is a threat, including his own father and baby brother. His willingness to kill has kept him alive so far, but he's never faced an army led by a man determined to kill him.

Several members of Jon Snow's forces have a personal grudge against Ramsay Bolton. Snow wants to kill Bolton to avenge his sister and rescue his brother Rickon, who Ramsay is holding hostage at Winterfell. Sansa will also be at the Battle of the Bastards, and she would gladly kill Ramsay if she had a chance. There's also Ser Davos Seaworth, whose previous lord Stannis Baratheon suffered a terrible defeat at the hands of Ramsay. The wildlings are also keen on killing Ramsay, as he's promised to kill every wildling south of the wall unless Jon agreed to return Sansa back to him. Basically, Ramsay has an entire army gunning for him, each of whom has a good reason to see him dead.

Ramsay is due for a major comeuppance, which usually means death in Game of Thrones. As one of the last truly evil characters on the show, Ramsay needs to die, preferably in a satisfactorily violent fashion. Not only would his death cause fans to celebrate, it would also clear away another distraction for the North, who is already preparing for an impending battle against the White Walkers and their army of the undead. Here's to hoping that Ramsay draws his last breathe in tonight's episode.
