Vertigo adaptation iZombie will debut after The Flash on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, and remain in that time slot for its first season while Supernatural will be moved to Wednesdays, where it will form a kind of "veteran" block of programming after Arrow.

The CW announced their midseason schedule today, revealing that Arrow and The Flash will remain in place to provide strong lead-ins to iZombie and Supernatural, respectively. Supernatural will take the spot of The 100, which has shorter seasons than many of The CW's shows and will wrap on March 11.

The Messengers will air on Fridays at 9 PM beginning April 10. The post-apocalyptic series will follow the recently-rebooted Whose Line is It Anyway?.
