Jared Leto Might Be Lestat In Interview With The Vampire Reboot?

"Don't be afraid. I'm going to give you the choice I never had."

Just a couple days ago, The Fault In Our Stars director Josh Boone revealed that he is working on Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment's remake of Interview With The Vampire, which will be based on Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire (1976) and The Vampire Lestat (1985). In that short time, fans of The Vampire Chronicles have been pondering who might next play the vain, sensual, and cunning vampire Lestat de Lioncourt.

Well, it looks like everyone can stop guessing who that might be. Boone tweeted an image of Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club, Suicide Squad) and the caption reads, "Lestat - there can be only one."

Lestat, a.k.a. "The Brat Prince," has been previously played by Tom Cruise in the 1994's Interview with the Vampire and Stuart Townsend in 2002's Queen of the Damned.
