When will Marvel's Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy meet up? According to Avengers franchise star Jeremy Renner, speaking at his Wizard World Chicago panel this weekend, not right away.

Renner seemed to indicate that there were no plans to include the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers: Infinity War, saying that he assumed Marvel planned to give the Guardians another movie of their own, "and then we've got Infinity War I and II."

He said that while it's likely there are plans to get the teams together, it wouldn't be right away.

"You'll be eighty years old by then, and I won't be Hawkeye anymore," Renner joked. "I'll be Dead Guy."

Of course, plans can change, or it's possible that Marvel hasn't yet filled in Renner if they indeed plan to bring the Guardians into Infinity War as most have thought.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is due in theaters in 2017. Renner's Hawkeye will next be seen (sporting Renner's favorite costume yet) in next year's Captain America: Civil War.

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
