If you've been following the casting news with American Horror Story: Hotel, you'll know that Jessica Lange has been missing from the cast. The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress has appeared in all seasons thus far as the malevolent Constance, but decided to exit stage right in order to return to Broadway.
Though, she might not be completely out of the picture, according to show creator Ryan Murphy.
"I've been talking to her," Murphy tells Entertainment Weekly. "It's always possible. I'm trying to deal with her play schedule. Jessica is always about the character. She'll be back—she's not gone forever." Murphy continued with how he tries to keep things "fun and fresh" with the show. "Sometimes somebody has to go away before you realize how much you miss them. She wants to come back we just have to come up with something."
American Horror Story: Hotel premieres October 7th.
