Most fans will get their first look at the Man of Steel trailer before The Dark Knight Rises, but Comic-Con attendees got a sneak peak at footage from the Man of Steel. There have been a couple grainy leaked videos surface online, but they usually disappear quickly as Warner Bros. has not officially released the trailer yet.
However, Comicbook.com was at Comic-Con covering the Man of Steel panel discussion live. We have a detailed description of what happened in the Man of Steel trailer along with a complete transcript of all the dialogue.
The Man of Steel trailer opens with shot of the farmhouse, butterfly, winter scene, and a young Clark Kent running in a cape. A voice says, “What if a child dreamed of becoming something other than what society had intended? What if a child aspired to something greater?”
After more scenes of Clark Kent at the farmhouse, a swing is shown blowing in the wind, then a school bus runs off a bridge and plunges into the water. A young Clark Kent saves the school bus. A woman’s voice says, “My son was in the bus. He saw what Clark did.” A voice says, “People are afraid of what they don’t understand.”
After a shot of the rocket ship heading to earth, Jonathan Kent is talking to Clark Kent. Clark has a metal “S” symbol in his hand. Jonathan Kent says, “It’s not from this world Clark, and neither are you.”
The scene flashes to an older bearded Clark Kent talking to Jor-El. Clark says, “I have so many questions. Where did I come from?” Jor-El says, “You just have to decide what type of man you want to grow up to be Clark. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, it’s going to change the world.” Then, there is a shot of Superman’s cape fluttering in the wind as he walks, followed by Superman flying through the air.0comments

What do you think?” Finally, an armed security force is shown with guns drawn, followed by a close-up of Superman’s boot as he steps forward, ending with the Man of Steel logo.
