Some of these sculptures include icons of Japanese pop culture. Dragon Ball is celebrating it’s 30th TV anniversary. To celebrate the occasion, the festival has erected a massive snow sculpture featuring Goku, Vegeta, Beerus, and Champa from the new TV Series Dragon Ball Super.
In addition to the massive Dragon Ball sculpture, there are also sizable recreations of Titans from the hit anime series Attack on Titan. Check out images of the sculptures in the gallery below.
The Sapporo Snow Festival is the same event that previously featured a 50-foot-tall snow sculpture of Darth Vader from Star Wars.
