Abdul-Jabbar’s Mycroft Holmes and the Apocalypse Handbook, being published by Titan Comics, will be a five-issue series and launch this August. It is being co-written by novelist Raymond Obstfeld and illustrated by Joshua Cassara.
Synopsis:
The series follows the elder Holmes as he travels the world on a mission from the British government to stop a madman intent on utilizing seemingly impossible technology to destroy civilization โ and disrespect Queen Victoria in the process, which may be an arguably greater sin.
Abdul-Jabbar previously wrote about Holmes’s elder brother for his debut novel, Mycroft Holmes, which was published in September 2015 and co-written by Anna Waterhouse.
