The force is strong with the Browncoats as comedian Brian McElhaney discovered. Colleagues, friends and fellow geek icons Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion dueled with light sabers in the middle of McElhaney's living room.

"I'm currently watching Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion have a lightsaber battle," McElhaney said on social media. "I felt it important this photo be shared."

McElhaney previously worked with Whedon and Fillion on Much Ado About Nothing and both have appeared in sketches for his comedy web series BritANick.

When he isn't busy battling buddies in a galaxy not so far away, Fillion can be seen solving mysteries as the titular sleuth on ABC's Castle. Whedon's next film, Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.
