Nina Dobrev & Ruby Rose In Talks To Join Vin Diesel's XXX Sequel

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries) and Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black) are in "various stages of negotiations" to join the cast of XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.

THR says production should begin "later this month" and filming will take place in Toronto and the Philippines. THR's sources have also informed them that Paramount Pictures will more than likely be distributing the franchise, which is getting a soft-reboot.

The cast currently includes Vin Diesel, UFC fighter Conor McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, Jet Li, Deepika Padukone (THR claims she is still in negotiations) and Tony Jaa.

It'll be directed by D.J. Caruso (I Am Number Four, Disturbia), based on a script by F. Scott Frazier.
