Pokemon Go's European rollout continues. The popular augmented reality mobile app is now available in Italy, Spain and Portugal. The game was previously released in Germany and the United Kingdom earlier this week.
The game's worldwide release had been delayed due to frequent server crashes caused by overwhelming traffic. Niantic Labs, the developer of Pokemon Go, said they wanted to come up with a solution to the faulty servers before exposing them to more traffic.
Pokemon Go is the biggest game in mobile app history, and it still hasn't come out in many parts of the world. The game is currently the top game on both the Google Play and Apple App stores and is generating an estimated $5 million a day in revenue.
Pokemon fans in Japan, Brazil, France and other parts of Asia, South America, Africa have yet to gain access to the game. Many international players are turning to APK copies and other workarounds to get a jump start on their Pokemon collections.0comments
