Gold and Diamon Iron Man head

Robert Downey, Jr. doesn't only play a superhero on the big screen, but he also acts like one in real life. Earlier this year, we reported on how Robert Downey, Jr. gifted the crew for Iron Man 3 with solid-gold Iron Man helmet heads. But it turns out Downey, Jr.'s generosity extended beyond just the production crew. An anonymous reader sent us in an actual photo of one of the solid-gold and diamond Iron Man helmet heads, along with an amazing story of how his five year old son came about having one. The reader's son is a huge Iron Man fan, who got the opportunity to meet Robert Downey, Jr. one day. According to the reader, Robert Downey, Jr. was very approachable and down to earth. Downey, Jr. signed his son's Iron Man 3 mask, but what happened next was even more surprising. Downey, Jr. gave this five year old fan a box that sort of looked like a box for a sleeve of golf balls. However, one of Robert Downey, Jr.'s bodyguards told the father that what was in the box was real so to be careful about his son playing with it. When the father looked at the box, it was marked "Stark Industries Jeweled Materials." Inside the box was a solid-gold and diamond Iron Man helmet head. There's no telling what the solid-gold and diamond Iron Man helmet head is worth, but for the five year old Iron Man fan who received it, its value and the memories of that special day are priceless.
