Sure, everyone's talking about the new, hot, young Star Wars movie, but what about that older Star Wars series you knew and loved?

8-Bit Cinema comes to the rescue with this new video, bringing the original trilogy of A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi to you in classic video game form. Sure, they cheated a bit and went into 16-bit mode at the end, but we'll forgive them because it's awesome.

The video takes its cues from Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, and then ever-so-slightly more modern games like Altered Beast.

It also happens to be just plain fun. Check out the video above, as well as the funny - if a little too easy - joke about the prequels at the end.
