Stephen Colbert Upset By Star Wars Episode VII Photo

On last night's episode of The Colbert Report, host Stephen Colbert had something to say about the big Star Wars casting news in a "Tip of the Hat, Wag of the Finger" segment. Colbert specifically criticized the photo that was released of the cast's first table read of the script, saying it lacked a certain amount of diversity. "I mean look at this photo," Colbert said. "Where's the creature design? Every single person is a humanoid with two arms and two legs?" Though perhaps not the intent, Colbert's criticism playfully mimics the stir created in fans concerned with the lack of females in the cast's composition. Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled to come to theaters on December 18, 2015.
