Fans will note in the images – which can be seen over at The Daily Mail – that Bebop and Rocksteady are human. Bebop is played by Gary Anthony Williams, and Rocksteady is revealed to be played by professional wrestler Sheamus, according to the report. We’ve reached out to WWE and Paramount to confirm Sheamus’ involvement, and are awaiting a response.
Update: Sheamus has confirmed his involvement in the film via Twitter.

While they’re not mutant animals – at least not yet – they’re both sporting their punk style from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon of the 1980s and 90s, right down to Bebop’s signature purple Mohawk.
You can see more of the daddy-daughter duo of Shredder and Karai – played by Brian Tee and Brittany Ishibashi, respectively – here.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 opens June 3, 2016.
