The Divergent Series: Insurgent Character Posters Released

A new series of animated posters for Insurgent have has the web, giving viewers an interactive look at Divergent's upcoming sequel.

The poster series gives a tease for each of the film's headlining characters, and where their personal journey will take them. It features Shailene Woodley as Tris, Theo James as Four, Kate Winslet as Jeanine, Naomi Watts as Evelyn, and Octavia Spencer as Johanna.

The animated posters were released as part of Entertainment Weekly's special feature on Insurgent. In the report, Woodley discusses how Tris' fight against her dystopian rulers, The Erudites, is going to reach new levels.

"She's left with a lot of confusion as far as what the future holds," Woodley told the magazine. "But she's also left with a lot of guilt from the war, from losing her parents and from Will, so [in Insurgent] you see a newfound strength in her for revenge, as well as a lot of internal battles that she's trying to weave her way around."
