Spoilers for season six, episode three of The Walking Dead follow.

During last night's episode of The Walking Dead, we appear to have lost a core character with us since season one (I say "Appear," because I don't think he's dead). It looked like Glenn was devoured by zombies.

Naturally, the internet reacted.

The episode was called, "Thank you."

What would the internet be without death threats to the actor burdened with playing Nicholas? You know Michael Traynor did his part well when the internet erupts on him but it's not all bad. Some folks were kind enough to compliment his portrayal and bid him a happy farewell.

Some had a little more harsh language than I'd like to share here, but for the most part, Twitter thanked Traynor for his great performance as Nicholas and building such a love-hate relationship with the viewers.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 PM ET on AMC.
