Tron Fans Start Petition To Revive Tron 3

Fans have created a Change.org petition to the save the now cancelled Tron 3.

Yesterday, Tron fans everywhere were heartbroken to learn that Disney had pulled the plug on the third Tron film. It appeared to be moving forward, bringing back director Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion) and stars Olivia Wilde (Lazarus) and Garrett Hedlund (Pan). Much of the plot was kept under wraps, but we do know some of it would've focused on Quorra (Wilde) adjusting to the world beyond the Grid.

While the last film did earn over $400M at the worldwide box office, its production and marketing costs ate up a lot of those profits. So you can understand why Disney is reluctant to take another financial risk on special effects-heavy film like Tron, despite it having a very loyal fanbase.
