Carrie Fisher’s Autopsy Has Been Completed

Carrie Fisher‘s autopsy has been finalized.

According to ET, the Los Angeles Coroner’s office has completed the examination and have released the body to “a mortuary selected by the family.”

The Star Wars actress passed away on Tuesday after falling into cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, passed away the next day after suffering a possible stroke.

Todd Fisher, Carrie’s brother, says he is planning a joint funeral for his sister and mother. “That is my preference,” he said in an interview with E! News about the funeral arrangements. “Obviously it’s not finalized, but I think that sounds like a grand idea given the beautiful story between them.”

Todd said his mom’s last words were “she missed Carrie and wanted to be with her” just 15 minutes before she had a stroke.
