After spending years away from the spotlight, fans are ecstatic that Chappelle is back in action, and creating new content for them to enjoy. Shortly after his appearance on SNL, Netflix announced that they had signed Chappelle on for two exclusive stand-up specials that would air sometime in 2017.
Earlier today, Netflix revealed exactly when both of the new specials would air – and they’re coming much sooner than you’d think.

In a tweet, the streaming service announced that both of Chappelle’s new specials would air on March 21, 2017.
That’s right, both of Chappelle’s highly-anticipated stand-up events will be available on Netflix on the same day.
This comes as a big surprise to many, mainly because Netflix is just now making the announcement. Last week, the site released their full list of March releases. Chappelle was absent from that list.

These comedy specials aren’t the only TV appearances the comedy icon is making in 2017. In an exclusive release from ComicBook.com, it was revealed that Chappelle would appear in an episode of AMC’s Ride With Norman Reedus.
