The English actor, who has appeared in Attack the Block and 24: Live Another Day, is a new addition to the Star Wars cast, and plays a character about whom we know very little. He appears in a Stormtrooper uniform, sans helmet, in the teaser…and apparently on the desert planet of Tattooine.

Following the massive response from fans online to the teaser trailer, Boyega took to social media to post a note to the audience.
The “get used to it” at the end is seemingly in response to antagonistic and/or racist remarks made by some fans about the trailer. Many media outlets noted that the trailer started with a character of color and a female character, and while most considered that a good thing — or at least an interesting one — there has been some negativity online from the usual suspects. The comments section suggest that’s what the issue is, at any rate.
