The 2013 Screen Actors Guild Award nominations have been announced, and The Walking Dead did receive one nomination. However, the show's  actors and actresses were overlooked in some categories where we here at Comicbook.com feel it deserved recognition. The Walking Dead was nominated for Outstanding Action Performance By A Stunt Ensemble In A Television Series, which is a category where it definitely deserved recognition. The Walking Dead stunts are some of the greatest stunts being shown by any current television series. Other nominees in the category included Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones, and Sons Of Anarchy. The Walking Dead was not nominated for Outstanding Performance By An Ensemble In A Drama Series. The Walking Dead has been receiving stellar ratings and great reviews during season 3, and its cast should have been recognized as one of the best on television. Also, as the central character in The Walking Dead, Andrew Lincoln has really been at the top of his game this season. Andrew Lincoln deserved to receive a nomination for Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Drama Series. In an interview with Walking Dead producer Gale Anne Hurd that Comicbook.com ran yesterday, Hurd also voiced her support of the incredible job that Andrew Lincoln has been doing on the series. Hurd said, "In my humble opinion, an Emmy or SAG nomination for Andy is long overdue. I think the visibility of the show is such that his fellow actors have likely seen it, and hopefully this year they'll feel the way we do about Andy's performances."
