Power Rangers Cinema Sins Video Released

Criticism to a degree is subjective, and nowhere is that more evident than in the Power Rangers Cinema Sins video.

The latest to get the blunt honesty treatment is the live action Power Rangers, which failed to meet box office expectations but ultimately was still positively received by most fans and critics. You wouldn’t really know this from the Cinema Sins take on the film, which at 19 seconds in offers up “Movie waited 1:35 too long to offer an apology for its awfulness.”

Yeah, that’s not really a sin as more of a statement of opinion, but “Cinema Opinions” doesn’t have quite the same ring to it.

Other things taken to task are the opening logos (seriously?), Kimberly’s salon style bathroom haircutting skills (kind of true actually), and their overuse of the word ‘Crazy’ (again, very true). Among the many other sins are ones that don’t make any sense, like the “I have plenty to say about this moment, but the most important thing is that they decided to call those colorful alien stones “coins”. That’s actually hilarious. How hard did Marvel lean on this s*it?”

For those who are familiar with the Rangers, they were always called Power Coins, and have nothing really to do with the colorful Infinity Stones that he’s likely referring to.

Again, there are plenty of flaws in the film, like Billy’s special underwater ocean proof flashlight, but there are more than several instances where the term ‘sins’ is used a bit loosely.
