The Power Rangers toy line continues to expand, but one of the brand’s most popular toy lines is the Legacy series, and now fans can see what is planned for a future wave.
The Legacy line of figures is a way for Bandai and Saban to feature their past seasons in a highly articulated toy line, and thus far it has included Rangers from Mighty Morphin, In Space, Ninja Storm, and more. Upcoming waves will bring more In Space, Mighty Morphin, Dino Thunder, and Zeo Rangers to the line, but evidently, Ninja Steel is also being included sooner rather than later.

GrnRngr.com got ahold of some design sketches of a future line of Legacy figures (via Tokunation), and the set features a heavy dose of Power Rangers Ninja Steel. That’s a bit surprising, as other spots in this line are typically reserved for older seasons, and Ninja Steel is currently airing. It only makes sense if the wave is being developed for release during Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, which airs next year, but even then it is still a rather quick turnaround.
As you can see in the image below, the wave consists of the Ninja Steel Red Ranger, the Ninja Steel Yellow Ranger, the Ninja Steel Pink Ranger, the Ninja Steel White Ranger, and the In Space Silver Ranger. These figures will be part of the 6.5 inch line and look pretty slick, questionable season choice aside.
No word on when these are going to be released, but it probably won’t be for awhile, as Bandai America is still a bit backed up with other announced waves. Later this year fans will get the first wave of Dino Thunder Legacy figures, which will debut alongside the Zeo Legacy figures. After that wave comes the anticipated Psycho Rangers wave of Legacy figures, which currently has no release date.
