BOOM! Studios has a growing Power Rangers universe on their hands, one that surprised fans with an appearance from Aisha.

Aisha appeared as part of the Dark Universe storyline in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comics, which saw Power Rangers from all across the universe unite to take on Lord Drakkon. That included Aisha, the former Yellow Ranger, and Karan Ashley couldn't be happier about it.

"I was so happy to see her show up in the comic," Ashley told AiPT! regarding her debut comic appearance. "I did not know if they would include Aisha, Rocky, or Adam. I also loved that her wardrobe looked a lot like my wardrobe in the Order trailer. She was tough and I'm anxious to see how the character develops."

Aisha was part of the resistance that formed after Lord Drakkon took over. Most Rangers had been stripped of their Power Coins, which resulted in using more traditional armor and weapons to fight his forces. Even Bulk and Skull fought alongside the former Rangers if that tells you anything.

Ashley will once again come in contact with former friends in real life, but in a much different way.

"The Order came from a desire to work with my cast and some of the other cast members who had been on later seasons," said Ashley of her new crowdfunded project. "We have all gotten to know each other and we do comic cons together all the time. I always thought, man I wish we could work together."

Some might expect a Power Rangers fan film of some sort from the group, but they had different ideas. "We did not want to do any Power Ranger reboot or fan film because it was already being done and there are so many fan films floating around out there," said Ashley of their choice in vision. "Plus as actors and artists, you just want to creatively do something different. You just want to stretch yourself and be a character you have never been before. We are super excited to start shooting and are finalizing a distribution deal. Once that is done, we will start filming."

The Order is on track to debut sometime in 2018.
