Netflix recently unveiled two first-look photos for their upcoming fourth season of Black Mirror. One photo highlights an episode titled ‘USS Callister’, which is being described as “a star-studded homage to Star Trek.” You can check out the photo below.

The episode’s cast is filled with television fan-favorites, including Jimmi Simpson (Westworld), Cristin Milioti (How I Met Your Mother), Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum), Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad), and Billy Magnussen (American Crime Story).

‘USS Callister’ will be directed by Sherlock and Doctor Who alum Toby Haynes. The episode will be written by William Bridges and Black Mirror showrunner Charlie Booker.

Small snippets of footage from ‘USS Callister’ can be seen in the show’s season four teaser. A beam of light can be shown on the Callister’s bridge, before the light envelops Milioti’s character’s hands and causes her to scream. Magnussen, Simpson, and Plemons’ characters can then be seen in the command center, before the ship speeds through a field of asteroids.

The episode’s plot is largely a mystery (and will probably remain that way until Black Mirror‘s fourth season premieres). But as fans of the series know, it will probably be a one-of-a-kind take on the world of Star Trek.

If you’re looking for more Star Trek-inspired content until ‘USS Callister’ is released, there are two high-profile series hitting television screens this fall. Seth McFarlane’s Trek homage The Orville premiered over the weekend, with plenty of Easter Eggs for fans of the original series. And the next official entry in the Star Trek canon, Star Trek: Discovery, will make its debut on September 24th.
