Get ready to go rogue! The newest chapter of Star Wars Go Rogue has hit the Internet and is packed with nerdy jokes and references.

Uploaded to Youtube, Chapter 3 of Go Rogue finds the Rebel Alliance in a tricky situation. The gang is searching for the second instruction manual to the Empire's Death Star after the cargo crash lands on Endu. However, Imperial troops have beaten the Rebels to the prize, forcing the gang to outsmart Director Krennic and his band of Stormtroopers to leave Endu with their lives intact.

Lucasfilm and Hasbro have teamed up to sponsor this fan-created web series. The stop-motion episodes are completely written and directed by a team of lucky Star Wars superfans. Each video also stars toys which are featured in Hasbro's line of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story merchandise.

Since the series is created by fans, you can expect plenty of inside jokes and off-the-wall humor. The newest video houses two major Star Wars references which fans are already geeking out over.

First, there's a timely reference to the clumsiest Stormtrooper in the galaxy in Chapter 3. A scene shows a group of soldiers approaching Director Krennic, but one of the Stormtroopers is too tall and admittedly uncoordinated to get past a sliding door. As such, the soldier bumps his head on the door leading to his Imperial employer. Of course, this shot is reference to Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope as the film starred Michael Leader, a Stormtrooper extra who famously bumped his head on a door during shoot.

Sadly, the actor recently passed away, but Michael would have loved to see his legacy live on in Go Rogue.

Another reference is to the fabled number sequence 1138. To most, the digits don't mean anything, but Star Wars fans know the number has a long history with George Lucas. The filmmaker's first film was titled THX 1138, and George left all kinds of '1138' easter eggs in Star Wars to honor his first on directorial debut.

A few more Go Rogue chapters will be released before Rogue One hits theaters later this year. The feature film will stand as the first ever standalone Star Wars flick that's independent from the Skywalker Saga. Rogue One takes place before Star Wars: Episode IV and follows a ragtag group of rebels who are on a mission to steal plans to the Death Star. The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards and star talent like Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and more.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on Dec. 16, 2016.
