While Funko is known for its POP series of figures, some of their other lines exceed POPs in cuteness and quirkiness. The Hikari line takes pop culture characters to a pop art extreme, offering up glorious collectible that look one part action figure and one part art show.

The Nocturne Stormtrooper Hikari Sofubi Figure is the latest in this line, offering up a glorious night-shaded pop art Stormtrooper, but it's limited to only 400 total pieces worldwide. Funko reveals another Japanese Hikari figure on Fridays, with characters from DC and Marvel Comics, Star Wars, and more.

Hikari figures are always limited edition, and typically retail between $50-$80. You can find them at retailers like Hot Topic and others. Stormtroopers, of course, made their return to the big screen this year in Rogue One. While they got some new designs, none of them were quite this cool.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is in theaters now. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
