There are lots of places to visit in a galaxy far, far away. The Star Wars universe is a large one both in story and scale. There are countless plants collected within the sci-fi franchise, and more are continually added to the Star Wars canon as new films and books are made. With so many planets to visit, fans are always excited to see a familiar place pop up again.

In future Star Wars films, it looks like fans will get to revisit some of their favorite locations. According to a report from Star Wars News Net, it appears that The Last Jedi and Episode IX will revisit at least three familiar Star Wars planets.

According to the site, the planets in question will appear in flashback sequences similar to the one Rey has in The Force Awakens. As for the locales, it is said that Tatooine, Mustafar, and Endor have a shot at returning to the Star Wars films.

Of course, these locations should sound very familiar to fans. Tatooine was home to both Anakin and Luke Skywalker during their lives, and Mustafar was the volcanic planet where the former faced off against Obi-Wan Kenobi. As for Endor, the moon was was the resting place of Anakin after Darth Vader died in orbit around the rock.

Each of the three planets have a direct relation with the Skywalker family, and the reports suggest that is no coincidence. Tatooine is suggested to appear because of its connection to the now-destroyed Jedi Temple which Luke established. As for Mustafar, the report speculates that Kylo Ren visits the desolate area to learn more about his grandfather’s past, and Endor is where the younger man would have retrieved Darth Vader’s melted helmet from.

For now, there is no comment from Lucasfilm about these reports, but the ideas are ones which fans can chew on. That is, until the movie comes out this December, of course.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, from writer/director Rian Johnson, is in post-production now for a December 15, 2017 release.

The film follows-up and continues the story of the next generation of the saga as Rey, Poe, Finn, and Kylo Ren find their place in the galaxy and follow the legacy of Luke Skywalker, Leia, and Han Solo. Daisy Ridley returns to star as Rey, with other returning stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong’o Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa. Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern join the cast in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
