Mark Hamill has not been afraid to comment on the current political climate as of late, so it makes sense that he’d also combat propaganda with his trademark affable charm.

Hamill was responding to an excerpt scanned from an old Soviet-era propaganda textbook posted to Twitter by Moscow Times reporter Matthew Bodner.

The text reportedly claims that Star Wars: Return of the Jedi was “the final act in an insidious capitalist plot to militarize space.” It’s complete with a still from the film in which Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are fleeing from Jabba’s sail barge in the opening act of the film.

Hamill responded in Russian, attempting to write the phrase “Go Force Yourself, comrades. He added that he faced difficulty getting Google to correctly translate the term “force,” saying that it “must be a plot.”

Hamill has been getting more involved in politics under the current administration, including making a series of videos where he reads President Donald Trump’s quotes and tweets with the voice of the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series.

It’s probably safe to assume that he won’t being attending any premieres of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in Russia when it comes out later this year.
